SmartCommute is run by a small independent team in Singapore. Email is the only channel we monitor, and it reaches us directly.

What to include

A little detail saves a round trip. Depending on why you are writing, the following helps us act on your message immediately.

Reporting wrong or missing bus data

  • The five-digit bus stop code (for example 83139) or the bus service number.
  • What the site showed, and what you observed instead.
  • Roughly when you saw it — arrival estimates change minute to minute.

Note that arrival times come straight from LTA DataMall. If a bus vanishes from the list or an estimate jumps, that usually reflects the upstream feed rather than a bug on our side — but tell us anyway, because a persistent pattern is worth reporting to LTA.

Reporting a bug

  • The page URL where it happened.
  • Your device and browser (for example "iPhone 14, Safari" or "Android, Chrome").
  • What you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot if you have one.

Suggesting a guide

We write explainers about commuting in Singapore — fares, concession cards, interchanges, night services, airport connections. If there is a question you had to search hard to answer, it is probably worth an article. Send it over.

Advertising and partnerships

For advertising enquiries, use the same address with "Advertising" in the subject line. We only place ads on our written guides, never on the live arrival screens.

Privacy and data requests

Questions about how we handle data are answered in our Privacy Policy. If something is not covered there, write to us with "Privacy" in the subject line and we will respond.

What we cannot help with

SmartCommute is an independent site, not a transport operator. We cannot help with lost property, fare disputes, concession card applications, refunds, or complaints about a specific bus or driver. Those go to the operator or to the Land Transport Authority directly. For lost items on public transport, contact the relevant operator — SBS Transit, SMRT, Tower Transit or Go-Ahead Singapore — as soon as you can.
